The much-anticipated season officially kicks off on 11 January 2026, and Big Brother is shaking things up from day one. Before new housemates take over the house, seven familiar faces from previous seasons are getting a second chance to rewrite their BBMzansi stories.
Dubbed “The Redeemed 7,” these former housemates are battling it out for just four spots back into the Big Brother house — and the power to decide lies squarely with the fans.

Here are the seven housemates hoping Mzansi will vote them back for another shot at the game:

Sipha Lee (Season 5) Actor and fan favourite Sipha Lee is aiming for redemption, determined to show growth both personally and strategically. Bravo B (Season 4) Former TV host Bravo B says he’s on a journey of growth — and this comeback could be his moment to shine. Lerato Modise (Season 4) Known for her philanthropic spirit, Lerato is stepping back into the spotlight with a renewed sense of purpose. Liema (Season 4) An artist remembered for bold moves and fearless gameplay, Liema is ready to take risks once again.

Fans can vote via the MyDStv App, where each active subscription allows you to cast votes for your favourite housemate. The four housemates with the highest votes will officially enter the Big Brother Mzansi Season 6 house.
Voting closes on 8 January 2026, and the results will be revealed live during the premiere.
